December Activities

You wouldn’t think the garden club would be busy in December….but you are so wrong!  Each December, aside from the holiday party,  the members perform a number of fun activities, such as:

Filling the urns at the Town Hall and Bedford Library with seasonal greenery and natural materials

Bedford Garden Club Community Garden Co-Chairs Kathy Statires and Kathy Nelson fill the  urns at the Town Hall

Trimming the Bedford Town Memorial tree with clear lights. During the holiday season, the tree is lit from December through the first week of January

Attending a Holiday Wreath Workshop where the club decorates 16 fresh evergreen wreaths and posts them throughout the town at the Bedford Town Offices, Library, Town Hall, Bedford Safety Complex, Transfer Station, Burleigh Triangle, Bedford Village Common fence along Rt. 101, and the Bedford Historical Society.
