Civic Projects

As part of the Bedford Garden Club’s charter, the club has a civic responsibility.

Members of the club dedicate their time to help beautify the Town of Bedford.  The club has designed and built several Bedford Community Gardens throughout the town. These community gardens are maintained throughout the year by the club members.  During the holiday season, garden club members also decorate Holiday Wreaths  and place them throughout the town.

The club provides educational programs to it’s members and guests within the community. Educational programs are offered monthly. A combination of experts and garden club members share with the community their gardening expertise. The club also provides funding for educational programs and literature on gardening at the Bedford Public Library.

The Bedford Garden Club would like to thank the local community businesses that donated to our Silent Auction December 2018. Their contribution was very much a part of our success of raising funds to continue our educational programs, civic landscape improvements, scholarships and charitable donations.
