Since 1935, the Bedford Garden Club has contributed its energy and talent to garden sites around town. We refer to these areas as “community gardens.” Some of these community gardens are fairly new, while others have their place in Bedford’s history. The members of the Club have individually and cooperatively provided the care and maintenance of these gardens. Contributions have been raised to provide trees, shrubs, flowers, urns, soil, fertilizer and weed control. We have worked the soil together.
